Thermal aging behavior characteristics of asphalt binder modified by nano-stabilizer based on DSR and AFM

open access: yesNanotechnology Reviews, 2021
In order to clarify the effect of thermal aging on the nano-stabilized modified asphalt binder, TINUVIN 770 (T770) hindered amine light stabilizer of nanoscale was selected as aging modifying agent to prepare modified asphalt. The impact of thermal aging

Influence of Combined Electrothermal Aging on Dielectric and Thermal Properties of HVAC XLPE Cable

open access: yesEnergies, 2023
To explore the influence of electrothermal aging on the properties of HVAC XLPE cable during its normal operation, two circuits of 110 kV XLPE cable were subjected to a combined electrothermal accelerated aging test for 180 days. The test voltage was set

Bonding to aged surfaces: A thermally-aged epoxy [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Materials Science, 1990
It is common experience that aged surfaces are often difficult to bond to. We report an examination of bonding to thermally-aged epoxy surfaces, using as the adhesive the same epoxy as that of the aged surface. The cured and postcured epoxy was aged at 200 ° C, with the ageing time varying from 2 to 8 h.

Comparison of thermo-oxidative aging properties of hydrogenated natural rubber prepared by different metal ion catalysts

open access: yesHecheng xiangjiao gongye, 2022
Hydrogenated natural rubber (HNR) was prepared by emulsion hydrogenation using different metal ion catalysts. The isothermal oxidation induction time (OIT) of raw rubber and the change of tensile properties of vulcanizate before and after thermal ...

Effects of Winding Vibration on the Mechanical-Thermal Aging Properties of Insulating Paper

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
The oil-paper insulation in power transformer is under a complicated environment, and there is little research on the combined effects of winding vibration-generated mechanical stress and thermal stress on the aging of insulating paper.

Research on dynamic characteristic of compressor RIP under thermal oxygen aging and variable preload conditions

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2023
The dynamic characteristics of rubber isolation pad (abbreviated as RIP) after service under the high temperature thermal oxygen aging and the variable preloads have preload dependence and thermal oxygen aging dependence, which is a crucial problem for ...

Solid Pseudopapillary Neoplasm of the Pancreas in Children and Adolescents: Expert Recommendations

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of the pancreas (SPN) is a rare low‐grade malignant exocrine pancreatic tumor, mostly discovered during the second decade of life in females, with a very good prognosis, provided microscopically complete surgical excision is achieved.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.
