Improved Electrochemical Behavior and Thermal Stability of Li and Mn-Rich Cathode Materials Modified by Lithium Sulfate Surface Treatment

open access: yesInorganics, 2022
High-energy cathode materials that are Li- and Mn-rich lithiated oxides—for instance, 0.35Li2MnO3.0.65LiNi0.35Mn0.45Co0.20O2 (HE-NCM)—are promising for advanced lithium-ion batteries. However, HE-NCM cathodes suffer from severe degradation during cycling,

Effect of Cr addition on hot deformation behavior and recrystallization mechanism of Cu–Ni–Si alloy

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology
The effect of Cr addition on the hot deformation behavior and microstructural evolution of Cu–Ni–Si alloys was systematically investigated. At 700 °C, both CuNiSi and CuNiSiCr alloys exhibit abnormally high peak stresses, pronounced post-peak softening ...

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.
