Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Photovoltaic (PV) panels stand as a prominent solution to meet the world's growing energy demands, due to their resistance to hard climate conditions, low-cost maintenance, and long lifetime. Nonetheless, the integration of PV power into electrical grids

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

IMPROVING THERMAL EFFICIENCY OF PHOTOVOLTAIC THERMAL SYSTEMS
The research presents the daily and monthly global solar radiation on a horizontal surface in Iraq and applies it to the PVT water system. The research contributes in two ways: first, it models a novel copper pipe system that improves thermal efficiency in an actual environment, and second, it investigates the hourly and daily intensity of solar ...

Energy efficiency by thermal spraying [PDF]
Machines used by the basic industries of Russia (metallurgy, oil-gas processing and power engineering) are characterized by high metal consumption, which in turn lead to high energy consumption. Their service lives increase and their worn parts are restored by means of low-cost materials for restoration.

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

Rethinking plastic waste: innovations in enzymatic breakdown of oil‐based polyesters and bioplastics
Plastic pollution remains a critical environmental challenge, and current mechanical and chemical recycling methods are insufficient to achieve a fully circular economy. This review highlights recent breakthroughs in the enzymatic depolymerization of both oil‐derived polyesters and bioplastics, including high‐throughput protein engineering, de novo ...
