Thermal reactions by automated mass spectrometric thermal analysis
Thermochimica Acta, 1973Abstract Combination of differential thermal analysis (DTA) with time-of-flight mass spectrometry and data storage on magnetic tape is used to study thermal decompositions. A modified Du Pont 900 DTA cell is used for reactions at atmospheric pressure with evolved gas sampling into a small time-of-flight spectrometer.

Temperature controller for thermal ionization mass spectrometry
Rapid Communications in Mass Spectrometry, 2001Abstract We describe the use of a simple voltage stabilizer that controls the filament temperature (T f ) in the ion source of a thermal ionization mass spectrometer. The filament voltage (V f ) is measured by means of a separate pair ...

Thermal ionization mass spectrometry
1987Thermal ionization mass spectrometry is a technique which has been chiefly developed for the analysis of geological samples. The technique is used extensively for the isotope ratio measurements required for Rb-Sr, Nd-Sm and Pb-Th-U geochronology studies as well as the determination of rare-earth elements, and, less frequently, other selected elements ...
