THERMAL NECROSIS - EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION ON THERMAL EXPOSURE DURING BONE DRILLING PROCESS
The process of bone drilling is an essential part of internal immobilization in orthopaedic and trauma surgery. So drill bit design also plays a vital role in surgery. Improper drill bit parameters will seriously affect the bone tissues and results thermal necrosis. This paper investigates the main concern of thermal necrosis during bone drilling.

Osteosarcoma is the most common primary bone tumor with limited treatment options and a terrible prognosis. This review provides a comprehensive summary of the recent development of osteoimmunomodulatory implants for post‐operative osteosarcoma treatment, of which the potential utility in evoking durable anti‐osteosarcoma immunity and accelerating bone

PET Imaging of Cardiac Inflammation in Viral Myocarditis Using a DPP4‐Targeted Probe
This study describes a DPP4‐targeted PET probe for imaging myocardial inflammation by selectively targeting activated immune cells. Derived from the clinically approved small‐molecule inhibitor linagliptin, the probe demonstrates favorable biodistribution with specific cardiac uptake in myocarditis.

To clarify the role of peroxisome proliferator activated receptor γ (PPARγ) in neuropathic pain, we examined the effect of pioglitazone, a PPARγ agonist, on tactile allodynia and thermal hyperalgesia in a neuropathic pain model.

Canagliflozin treatment reshapes the gut microbiota in DKD and elevates levels of melibiose, a metabolite derived from Roseburia intestinalis. Melibiose directly binds to and enhances the enzymatic activity of glyoxalase 1, leading to decreased methylglyoxal accumulation.

The Heat Transfer Modeling for Minimization of Thermal Necrosis in Hip Resurfacing Arthroplasty [PDF]
In the past, the only option for replacing broken or otherwise malfunctioning hip bones was total hip replacement (THR), which involved the removal of the body's natural hip joint and replacing it with an entirely synthetic joint.

Nanocellulose, derived from microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) through sulfuric acid hydrolysis or mechanical grinding to produce CNC or CNF, was tested in a rat ICP model. Particularly, CNF improved gut microbiota composition, reduced secondary bile acid metabolism, and restored bile acid homeostasis through modulation of the gut–liver axis.
