Optimization-Based Network Identification for Thermal Transient Measurements
Network identification by deconvolution is a proven method for determining the thermal structure function of a given device. The method allows to derive the thermal capacitances as well as the resistances of a one-dimensional thermal path from the ...

A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

This study explores the feasibility of expressing the antitumoral protein Amblyomin‐X through a suicide gene therapy approach and investigates its intracellular fate after gene delivery. Although the gene is efficiently expressed, melanoma cells rapidly degrade the Amblyomin‐X protein via proteasome activity.

Radial movement optimization (RMO) technique for solving unit commitment problem in power systems
Unit commitment (UC) is one of the nonlinear optimization problems with linear and nonlinear constraints. In this work, radial movement optimization (RMO) is employed to solve the optimal thermal unit commitment problem. Radial movement optimization is a

Thermal Model and Optimization of a Large Crystal Detector using a Metallic Magnetic Calorimeter
We established a simple thermal model of the heat flow in a large crystal detector designed for a neutrinoless double beta decay experiment. The detector is composed of a CaMoO$_{4}$ crystal and a metallic magnetic calorimeter (MMC).

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.
