Thermal resistance of Listeria monocytogenes.

open access: yesAnnales de recherches veterinaires. Annals of veterinary research, 1989
Two methods were used to study the thermal resistance of Listeria monocytogenes. The D60 degrees C values ranged from 1.3-6.5 min in an open vessel. D72 degrees C varied from 0.06-1.5 s and z from 3.1-6.5 K (38 strains) in capillary tubes. Therefore a conventional pasteurization process of 15 s at 72 degrees C could assure 10-750 decimal reductions ...

Process for the production of metal nitride sintered bodies and resultant silicon nitride and aluminum nitride sintered bodies [PDF]

open access: yes
A process for the manufacture of metal nitride sintered bodies, in particular, a process in which a mixture of metal nitrite powders is shaped and heated together with a binding agent is described. Of the metal nitrides Si3N4 and AIN were used especially

Thermal shock resistance of silicon oxynitride [PDF]

open access: yes
The thermal shock resistance of Si2N2O refractory material was studied. The thermal expansion coeff. is 3.55x10 to the -6th power at 20 to 800 C and 2.86x10 to the -6th power m/m/deg at 20 to 200 C. The breaking loads are high at high stress.
