Thermophysical Properties of Ethane
Journal of Physical and Chemical Reference Data, 1989New correlations for the thermophysical properties of fluid ethane are presented. The correlations are based on a critical evaluation of the available experimental data and have been developed to represent these data over a broad range of the state variables. Estimates for the accuracy of the equations and comparisons with measured properties are given.

Abstract This chapter starts with discussing the inter- and intra-molecular interactions of the two spin isomers of hydrogen, ortho- and parahydrogen, and how statistical mechanics can be used to derive thermodynamic properties. Next, it is shown how thermodynamic properties can be calculated using equations of state (EoS).

Thermophysical Properties of Fluid D2O
Journal of Physical and Chemical Reference Data, 1984The present publication contains data on the thermophysical properties of deuterium oxide (heavy water). It is a companion to the paper on the thermophysical properties of fluid H2O published earlier in this journal by the same authors. The properties are represented by equations which can be readily programed on a computer and incorporated in data ...

Thermophysical properties—Industrial directions
Fluid Phase Equilibria, 2002Changing conditions in the companies have necessarily led to changes in the work in thermodynamics groups in industry during the last 20 years. While many companies have reduced activities in the field of applied thermodynamics or even have closed their thermodynamics group, other companies, including Bayer, have put more emphasis in the field of ...

Thermophysical properties of Dy6UO12
Ceramics International, 2012Dysprosium uranate (Dy6UO12) was prepared by citrate gel combustion and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD). A single phase with a rhombohedral structure was observed (R3¯). The room temperature values of the lattice parameters “a” and “c” were found to be 9.9747 and 9.4370 A, respectively.

Thermophysical Properties of Ionic Liquids
2009Low melting point salts which are often classified as ionic liquids have received significant attention from research groups and industry for a range of novel applications. Many of these require a thorough knowledge of the thermophysical properties of the pure fluids and their mixtures.
