Study on fracture law and energy evolution characteristics of inclined thick-hard roof
Fracture of the inclined thick-hard roof structure is the direct cause of dynamic disasters such as rock burst. To clarify the fracture law and energy evolution characteristics of the inclined thick-hard roof, taking the 1303 working face with inclined ...

ABSTRACT This study investigates the seismic response of moment‐resisting frames retrofitted with a stepping rocking wall, with emphasis on weak‐story mitigation and residual drift reduction under both ordinary and pulse‐like ground motions. Nonlinear response‐history analyses are conducted on 9‐story and 20‐story SAC Los Angeles frames.

This study primarily investigates the optimal width for coal pillar retention in both sides of the worked‐out face section. Taking the 42201 haulage roadway of the 42201 working face at Shengxin Coal Mine as the primary research target, it analyses the optimum width for coal pillar retention through theoretical calculations, numerical simulations, and ...

Research and application of pressure relief technology for fracturing thick hard roof in super-high mining face [PDF]
Aiming at the problems of super-large mining space, strong ore pressure and ultra-high coal wall stability control faced by full-mechanized mining face with ultra-large mining height and thick hard roof, this paper takes the 122104 working face of ...

Mine‐water immersion tests reveal pronounced coal weakening (vs. minor concrete degradation), identifying coal pillars as the stability‐limiting component in composite dams. A coupled FEINN framework quantifies extreme‐pressure stability and ranks multi‐parameter designs via a normalized multi‐indicator scheme, enabling optimized dam configuration for ...

This study determines the impact critical stress early‐warning indicators for deep soft coal seams: 18 MPa (shallow holes), 20 MPa (deep holes), and 3 MPa/d daily stress change rate, via theoretical, experimental and simulation methods. ABSTRACT The accurate determination of early‐warning indicators for critical impact stress in deep soft coal seams is

This study mainly explores the instability characteristics of roadways near faults in the working face. Taking the 51104 transportation roadway of the 51104 working face in Shengxin Coal Mine as the main research object, through theoretical analysis, borehole inspection, numerical simulation and on‐site mine pressure observation, the instability ...
