Research on Deformation Prediction Surrogate Model of Thin-walled Parts for Digital Twin Modeling
Thin-walled parts are widely used in aerospace and other fields. Due to weak rigidity and large cutting force, thin walled parts are prone to deformation during processing, which will affect the dimensional accuracy.

Free Vibration of Composite Thin-Walled Beams with Chordwise Asymmetric Closed Cross-Sections
In this paper, some analytical results via extended Galerkin method on free vibration characteristics of an anisotropic composite beam, which is modeled as a nonuniform thin-walled structure with a chordwise asymmetric closed cross-section and corrected ...

P4bm framework in NaNbO3‐Ba(Ti, Hf)O3 ferrodistortive relaxor entails short‐range and highly‐polar ferrodistortive orders. The abundant highly‐polar orders facilitate to increase entropy change, and robust octahedral oxygen tilt enables to impede thermal perturbations.

Here, we provide the reader with the current state of the art in the fabrication of high‐T2‐coherence diamond, optimized through the use of double electron–electron resonance (DEER) spectroscopy. We reveal the main as well as yet unidentified spin defects, the reduction of which is essential for reducing the spin bath and fabricating materials for ...

Spatially Modulated Morphotropic Phase Boundaries in a Compressively Strained Multiferroic Thin Film
ABSTRACT The coexisting rhombohedral‐like (R′, MA) and tetragonal‐like (T′, MC) monoclinic phases in compressively strained bismuth ferrite thin films exhibit exceptional piezoelectric and magnetic properties. While previous studies have largely focused on probing the morphotropic phase boundaries (MPBs) comprising ordered R′/T′ twins, their self ...

Local Buckling and Resistance of Continuous Steel Beams with Thin-Walled I-Shaped Cross-Sections
In modern steel construction, thin-walled elements with Class 4 cross-sections are commonly used. For the sake of the computation of such elements according to European Eurocode 3 (EC3), simplified computational models are applied.

We use scanning nitrogen vacancy magnetometry to directly image the weak in‐plane magnetic moments in mixed phase BiFeO3 at the nanoscale and quantify the local magnetic moments to be 18.8±2.0 μB/nm2 in the rhombohedral‐like phase and 1.5±0.6 μB/nm2 in the well‐known non‐magnetic tetragonal‐like phase.

Dynamic Analysis of Tapered Thin-Walled Beams Using Spectral Finite Element Method
Tapered thin-walled structures have been widely used in wind turbine and rotor blade. In this paper, a spectral finite element model is developed to investigate tapered thin-walled beam structures, in which torsion related warping effect is included ...
