Cinnamaldehyde derived from Cinnamomum species exerts multitarget anticancer effects by promoting oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, apoptosis, cell‐cycle arrest, autophagy, and epigenetic changes, and by suppressing mitogen‐activated protein kinase (MAPK), phosphoinositide 3‐kinase/protein kinase B/mechanistic target of rapamycin (PI3K/Akt ...

Surface passivation of GaInAsSb photodiodes with thioacetamide
AbstractAlGaAsSb/GaInAsSb heterojunction mesa photodiodes having 2.2 µm cutoff wavelength, grown by MBE on (p) GaSb substrates, have been passivated using thioacetamide CH4CSNH2 and ammonium sulphide (NH4)2S. Superior characteristics were obtained from devices processed with thioacetamide in acid medium (pH = 2.4).

The in‐silico data showed that fisetin binds stably with the autophagy receptors and synaptic density regulators. Further, in‐vitro data confirmed the restoration of Aβ1‐42 disrupted autophagy by fisetin. Fisetin restored the oxidative stress and ion channels, along with a reduction of AChE activity.

Background and Purpose Metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatohepatitis (MASH) is linked to activation of hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) to α‐smooth muscle actin–positive myofibroblasts that produce collagen and proinflammatory cytokines. Quiescent HSCs express the NO‐cGMP signalling axis.

Instability of Antimony‐Based Energy Storage Materials in Alkaline Environments
Antimony sulfide iodide (SbSI), antimony sulfide (Sb2S3), and antimony oxide (Sb2O3) rapidly degrade in alkaline electrolytes, forming potassium antimony sulfide oxide (PASO, K3SbS3·(Sb2O3)3) initially and dissolving during subsequent cycling. In contrast, SbSI shows improved structural stability in acidic media, highlighting the need to reconsider ...

3D Liver Fibrosis Models in Lab: A Novel Modality for Drug Screening
ABSTRACT Liver fibrosis is the common consequence of liver injury caused by a variety of chronic liver disorders. This condition leads to the development of more severe complications, particularly cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. Despite abundant studies, the fundamental cell and molecular mechanisms of liver fibrosis are still unknown.
