Exploring Autophagy Inducing Molecules: Targeting Diverse Pathways in Alzheimer's Disease Management

open access: yesMedicinal Research Reviews, Volume 46, Issue 1, Page 272-298, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Neurodegenerative disorders, including Alzheimer's disease (AD), impose a significant burden on society due to their progressive nature and the associated healthcare costs. Autophagy, a vital cellular degradation process, has emerged as a promising therapeutic target in these disorders.

Anti‐PSMA Functionalized PLGA‐PEG Nanoparticles for Active Targeting of LnCap Cells and Controlled Release of Docetaxel in Prostate Cancer

open access: yesNano Select, Volume 7, Issue 1, January 2026.
Design of experiments was used to optimize docetaxel‐loaded PLGA‐PEG nanoparticles that were fabricated by nanoprecipitation using a microfluidics technique. The nanoparticles were functionalized with an antibody to target prostate‐specific membrane antigen receptor on LnCap prostate cancer cells.

Templated Tube Growth About a Reactive Gas Plume: The Pharaoh's Serpent Reaction, Thermodecomposition of Mercury Thiocyanate in Air

open access: yesChemSystemsChem, Volume 8, Issue 1, January 2026.
XX XX ABSTRACT The pharaoh's serpent reaction, the thermodecomposition of mercury thiocyanate in air, is a classic chemical demonstration. We analyse and characterize the reaction products, composed of two different phases, graphitic carbon nitride, C3${\rm C} _3$N4${\rm N} _4$, and metacinnabar, HgS.

Quality Analysis and Detection of Adulterants and Contaminations in Milk/Milk Powder by Raman Spectroscopy

open access: yesComprehensive Reviews in Food Science and Food Safety, Volume 25, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Milk and milk powder are central to global nutrition, yet remain vulnerable to adulteration and contamination. Adulteration using water, urea, ammonium sulfate, thiocyanates, detergents, melamine, or compositional changes with whey and carbohydrate fillers undermines nutritional quality, reduces consumer confidence, and challenges regulatory ...

Do culturable seed endophyte communities differ between native and invasive Fabaceae sharing the same habitat?

open access: yesPlant Biology, Volume 28, Issue 1, Page 249-260, January 2026.
Invasive Acacia seeds harbour richer and more functionally diverse endophyte communities than co‐occurring native Fabaceae, which could enhance establishment and invasion success of Acacia. Abstract Invasive plant species threaten ecosystems by decreasing biodiversity and altering their functioning.
