Thiram residues on glasshouse lettuce.

open access: yesNetherlands Journal of Agricultural Science, 1975
Thiram dust was applied at different concentrations and dates to lettuce crops and residue levels were analysed at harvest or at weekly intervals. The growth of the plant was the major factor influencing residue levels. The later the application the greater was the residue.

Fungal disease management in cotton using plant protection products: An Australian perspective

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 82, Issue 7, Page 6010-6023, July 2026.
Cotton disease management requires evidence‐driven use of plant protection products. Progress hinges on integrating chemistry, diagnostics, stewardship and sustainability to build resilient production systems. Abstract Cotton production faces persistent challenges from pathogens that compromise plant establishment, yield, and fibre quality.

The Rise of Stemphylium vesicarium: A Growing Threat to Pear Production in Europe

open access: yesPlant Pathology, Volume 75, Issue 4, July‐August 2026.
Brown spot of pear, caused by the fungus Stemphylium vesicarium, was reported in Italy in 1975 and only recently, due to climate change and pesticide restrictions, it became a major threat for European pear production. New knowledge on this pathogen can allow the advent of new and effective control strategies.

Fungicides of low mammalian toxicity as grain protectants. I. Thiram.

open access: yes, 1971
Conditions for using thiram as an antifungal agent during storage of grain sorghum have been standardized. It was found that sorghum (15% moisture content) can be protected from fungal infection for 180 and 30 days at 80 and 90% RH respectively, when ...

Icariin Ameliorate Thiram-Induced Tibial Dyschondroplasia via Regulation of WNT4 and VEGF Expression in Broiler Chickens

open access: yesFrontiers in Pharmacology, 2018
Tibial dyschondroplasia (TD) is main bone problem in fast growing poultry birds that effect proximal growth plate (GP) of tibia bone. TD is broadly defined as non-vascularized and non-mineralized, and enlarged GP with tibia bone deformation and lameness.

Influence of Nitrogen in Sulfurized Polymer‐Based Cathode Materials on Electrochemical Performance in Lithium–Sulfur Batteries: Electrochemical and Computational Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, Volume 7, Issue 6, June 2026.
Sulfurized poly(styrene) (SPS) and sulfurized poly(vinylpyridine) (SPVP) containing ≥60 wt.% sulfur materials were synthesized by a scalable single‐step method and used as cathode materials for Li–S batteries. Both materials have high discharge capacity and long cycle life.

Rapid colorimetric method for estimation of thiram residues on grains.

open access: yes, 1970
A rapid and relatively simple method has been developed for the colorimetric determination of thiram residues on grains. Cuprous chloride is used to form a yellow complex with thiram, which is measured at 420 nm.

Identification of High‐Performing Extra‐Early Field Pea (Pisum sativum L.) Genotypes for Rice‐Rice Cropping Systems Using MGIDI and Multivariate Analysis

open access: yesLegume Science, Volume 8, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT The development of rice–rice farming systems in South Asia necessitates extra‐early maturing legumes that can fit into short planting windows without affecting yield productivity. This 2‐year study evaluates 43 extra‐early field pea (Pisum sativum L.) genotypes during two consecutive years at the Pulses Research Centre (PRC), Bangladesh ...
