Biotinylation of a fluorescein‐based photosensitizer enhances its performance in PDT through a synergistic dual action. In addition to Type II singlet oxygen generation common to both dyes, the biotinylated system induces stronger membrane perturbation and higher local accumulation in lipid membranes, associated with increased water permeability and ...

Abstract Accurate quantification of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells is essential for monitoring post‐infusion CART expansion and persistence and for real‐time clinical decision‐making. Multiparameter flow cytometry (MFC) enables rapid, live‐cell detection with absolute quantification and concurrent immunophenotypic characterization. This review

Elective irradiation of the neck : a three-dimensional CT definition of the target for conformal radiotherapy [PDF]
When no lymph node metastases are detected clinically in patients with head and neck cancer, the neck is staged as NO. The elective treatment of the NO neck, by either surgery or radiotherapy, results in excellent local control rates.

Abstract Manual gating for plasma cell (PC) identification in multiparametric flow cytometry (MFC) is time‐consuming and operator‐dependent, especially when PCs are scarce. Artificial intelligence approaches such as unsupervised clustering (e.g., FlowSOM) map high‐dimensional data that still require expert interpretation.

In this study, plant‐derived carbon dots (CDs) were prepared using natural plant leaves as raw materials through solvothermal method. These CDs retain the porphyrin structure from chlorophyll and can simultaneously generate I and II types of reactive oxygen species. A 660 nm laser irradiation for only 1 min can achieve efficient photodynamic anti‐tumor

Treatment of optic nerve sheath meningioma with three-dimensional conformal radiation
PURPOSE: To report a patient recovering vision after three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy for optic nerve sheath meningioma. METHODS: Radiotherapy was delivered by a three-dimensional conformal technique in 28-180-cGy fractions.

Recent advances in radiotherapy
Radiation therapy has come a long way from treatment planning based on orthogonal radiographs with large margins around tumours. Advances in imaging and radiation planning software have led to three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy and, further, to ...

ABSTRACT Local recurrence after primary breast cancer treatment remains a complex clinical scenario in patients previously treated with breast‐conserving therapy and radiotherapy. For decades, salvage mastectomy was considered the standard treatment for ipsilateral breast tumor recurrence, largely because of concerns about local control after repeat ...

Evaluation of Testis as Organ at Risk in Carcinoma Rectum with Various Radiotherapy Delivery Techniques [PDF]
Background: Due to the close approximation of testis to radiotherapy treatment field in male carcinoma rectum patients, it receives either scattered or direct radiation.
