Three-dimensional fields and temperatures in a squat helicon reactor

IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science, 2002
Magnetically enhanced inductively coupled plasmas (MEICP) and helicons have complex plasma electric-field coupling between the electric field and the plasma due to the tensor conductivity and multiple-dimensional antenna segments. Computed three-dimensional electric fields and electron temperatures are presented for a helicon reactor demonstrating ...

Three-dimensional rainbow schlieren tomography of a temperature field in gas flows

Applied Optics, 1998
We present quantitative rainbow schlieren deflectometry with tomography for measurements of temperature in three-dimensional gas flows. The schlieren apparatus with a continuously graded spectral filter of known transmissivity was used to create color schlieren images of the test media.

Steady three-dimensional temperature field in cooled turbine blades

Journal of Engineering Physics, 1977
A method based on the use of Green functions is proposed for calculating the temperature field of cooled turbine blades. The method presumes the use of high-speed computers with large memories.

Three‐Dimensional Reconstruction of Temperature and Velocity Fields in a Furnace

Particle & Particle Systems Characterization, 1995
AbstractIn this paper a reconstruction method is presented, which allows the calculation of three‐dimensional temperature and velocity fields in an industrial furnace by measuring the propagation times of sound waves. Transceiver systems working in a coal fired power station and reconstructing two‐dimensional fields are well known.

Reconstitution of the three-dimensional temperature field inside the impenetrable solid

2016 Prognostics and System Health Management Conference (PHM-Chengdu), 2016
For reconstructing three-dimensional (3D) temperature field of small-scale and impenetrable solid, such as printed circuit board (PCB), a new method based on fuzzy relationships between temperatures of different points was proposed and software was developed for solving the issue.

Transition temperature of three-dimensional superconducting networks in a magnetic field

Physica B: Condensed Matter, 1994
Abstract The phase boundary of a three-dimensional superconducting network made of thin wires is calculated numerically by solving the eigenvalue problem which is the same as that for electrons on the lattice in the same magnetic field. The transition temperature of the three-dimensional array of Josephson junctions in a magnetic field is also ...

Three-dimensional temperature field simulation for the rotor of an asynchronous motor

European Journal of Physics, 2010
A three-dimensional heat transfer model is built according to the rotor structure of an asynchronous motor, and three-dimensional temperature fields of the rotor under different working conditions, such as the unloaded, rated loaded and that with broken rotor bars, are studied based on the finite element numerical method and experiments.

Reconstruction of a three-dimensional temperature field in flames based on ES-ResNet18

Applied Optics
Currently, the method of establishing the correspondence between the flame light field image and the temperature field by deep learning is widely used. Based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs), the reconstruction accuracy has been improved by increasing the depth of the network.

Three-Dimensional Asymmetric Flow and Temperature Fields in Cracking Furnaces

Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, 2001
Three-dimensional flue gas flow fields and temperature profiles are calculated in a 4/2/1 split coil naphtha-cracking furnace with long flame burners and an asymmetric flue gas outlet. The heat streams in the furnace connected to the asymmetric flue gas flow fields are found to be compensated for by a net radiative heat transfer in the opposite ...
