Nonlinear seepage flow of ultralow permeability reservoirs

open access: yesPetroleum Exploration and Development, 2008
Nonlinear seepage flow is chiefly caused by medium deformation and threshold pressure gradient (TPG) in low and ultralow permeability reservoirs. According to laboratory experiment on medium deformation and TPG, a novel stress sensitive coefficient is ...

Early‐life high‐fat diet exposure increases Achilles tendon stiffness and induces transcriptomic alterations

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Method for improving history matching precision of reservoir numerical simulation

open access: yesPetroleum Exploration and Development, 2008
: During reservoir numerical simulation, Darcy's law is usually used for splitting flow rates based on formation capacity, without considering the effects of threshold pressure gradient of low permeability.

Hyperosmotic stress‐induced redistribution of pre‐mRNA cleavage factor I subunits is associated with shifts in alternative polyadenylation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Hyperosmotic stress triggers the relocation of the CFIm complex from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. This shift creates a nuclear ‘stoichiometric bottleneck’, limiting CFIm availability for mRNA processing. Consequently, specific mRNAs like NUDT21 and DICER1 undergo targeted 3′UTR shortening, demonstrating how spatial protein dynamics drive rapid ...

Productivity Formula of Horizontal Well in Low-Permeability Gas Reservoir considering Multiple Factors

open access: yesGeofluids, 2023
For horizontal well in low-permeability gas reservoir, the effects of threshold pressure gradient, stress sensitivity, and gas slippage have significant impacts on the well productivity.

Importin 7 mediates the nuclear import of HIV‐1 integrase via a specific interacting interface

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
HIV‐1 integrase enables viral DNA integration into the host genome. By binding to the core domain of the host protein Importin 7 via its C‐terminal domain, the integrase is transported across the nuclear membrane into the nucleus, where integration of the viral genome into host DNA takes place. This translocation is a critical step for subsequent viral

Optimizing photoexcitation conditions for time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering experiments

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering (TR‐XSS) is a powerful technique to visualize how proteins change their structure in real time after light activation. Selecting the right laser photoexcitation conditions—fluence, excitation geometry, and sample refresh rate—is critical to maximize the experimental signal while avoiding unwanted side effects ...

Analysis of low permeability gas reservoir fracturing well productivity equation considering multi-factors

open access: yesYouqicang pingjia yu kaifa, 2018
In order to accurately predict the well capacity in the fracture of the low permeability gas reservoir, it is necessary to consider the multi-factors. The studies show that the relation between the threshold pressure gradient and the average reservoir ...
