RESEARCH PROGRESS ON THRESHOLD PRESSURE GRADIENT IN HEAVY OIL RESERVOIRS
Polymer flooding is one of the key technologies for enhancing oil recovery. Partially Hydrolyzed Polyacrylamide (HPAM) is widely used due to its excellent viscosity-increasing properties. However, the adsorption and retention behavior of HPAM in reservoir porous media presents a dual effect: on one hand, it improves sweep efficiency by increasing flow ...

Protocol for quantifying miRNA trafficking across the endosomal membrane
An in vitro protocol measures miRNA uptake into endosomes isolated from mammalian cell extracts, which are free of subcellular contaminants. Performed at 37 °C in the presence of ATP, it ensures the import of single‐stranded miRNA into the endosomal lumen.

GelMA‐based 3D spheroids recapitulate transcriptomic and functional hallmarks of myeloid sarcoma
GelMA 5% hydrogels support the formation of myeloid leukemia spheroids that recapitulate MS‐specific features, including G1 arrest, apoptosis, and ECM‐driven transcriptomic reprogramming. The 3D model mimicked soft‐tissue‐like stiffness and oxygen conditions, and transcriptomic convergence with primary MS samples confirmed its utility as a preclinical ...

Analytical Solution for Rheological Consolidation of Soft Clay with Threshold Hydraulic Gradient
The influence of a threshold gradient of water flow in soft clays on consolidation behavior has been gradually recognized. However, the consolidation theory with consideration of a threshold hydraulic gradient and rheological characteristics has rarely ...

ABSTRACT Objective Early risk stratification may support clinical decision‐making in spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). We aimed to develop and internally validate HAGIV, a score integrating frequency of imaging markers (FIM), a time‐adjusted non‐contrast computed tomography (CT) metric of hematoma expansion, with established predictors for 90‐

Characterizing Cutaneous α‐Synuclein Deposition and Seeding Activity in Parkinson's Disease Subtypes
ABSTRACT Objective Cutaneous phosphorylated α‐synuclein (p‐syn) and α‐synuclein seeding activity are promising biomarkers for Parkinson's disease (PD), but their clinical value remains uncertain due to disease heterogeneity. This study evaluates these two biomarkers in PD patients to inform phenotype‐specific diagnosis and disease severity assessment ...
