Throttle Device Cooling Optimization

open access: yes, 2015
Diplomová práce řeší optimalizaci chladícího kanálu modulu škrticí klapky firmy Bosch GmbH. Optimalizace je založena na CFD výpočtech, které jsou použity pro vytvoření náhrad cílových funkcí.

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Sliding Mode Control of Electronic Throttle Valve

open access: yes, 2011
Electronic throttle is a typical nonlinear device because of the nonlinear reset springs. Normal sliding mode control usually leads to chattering. To reduce chatters, a sliding mode control method based on compensation of nonlinearity is proposed, in ...

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Polarization‐resolved femtosecond Vis/IR spectroscopy tailored for resolving weak signals in biological samples using minimal sample volume

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Proteasomal degradation of intracellularly expressed Amblyomin‐X limits suicide gene therapy potential in melanoma cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This study explores the feasibility of expressing the antitumoral protein Amblyomin‐X through a suicide gene therapy approach and investigates its intracellular fate after gene delivery. Although the gene is efficiently expressed, melanoma cells rapidly degrade the Amblyomin‐X protein via proteasome activity.

An investigation of an automatic throttle device during turning flight [PDF]

open access: yes, 1966
This thesis is a continuation of a series of studies on automatic throttle compensation systems begun in 1963 by Lieutenant Commander G. R, Bell. £l] Previous investigations have been concerned with flight in a wings level attitude.

Design of the Polished Rod Load Simulation System for Pumping Unit Type Test

open access: yesShiyou jixie, 2017
To simulate the polished rod load of the pumping unit, a new polished rod load simulation test device has been designed. In the simulation test device, throttle valve and relief valve has been used to simulate the oil load of pumping unit, the heavy load

Large‐scale bidirectional arrayed genetic screens identify OXR1 and EMC4 as modifiers of αSynuclein aggregation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.
