A Thrust Ripple Suppression Strategy of PMLSM Based on Resonant Disturbance Observer with Optimal Gain and Phase Compensation

International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems, 2023
A thrust ripple suppression strategy of PMLSM is proposed based on a multi-resonant disturbance observer. To avoid anomalous gain peaks, a tuning method for resonant gain and compensation phase is designed through the loop shaping for disturbance ...

Thrust Ripple Reduction of Permanent Magnet Linear Motor for Servo System Based on Sliding Mode Iterative Learning Control With Feedforward Compensation Strategy

International Electric Machines and Drives Conference, 2023
Thrust ripples caused by the end-effect and cogging-effect have a serious impact on the control of Permanent Magnet Linear Motor (PMLM). In this paper, thrust ripple of PMLM is analyzed and reduced for servo system.

A Novel Structure for Minimization of Thrust Ripple on Voice Coil Motor Used in Ventilators

2021 13th International Symposium on Linear Drives for Industry Applications (LDIA), 2021
This paper investigates a novel structure voice coil motor (VCM), which is used in ventilator. The VCM controls on and off of the valve of ventilator, so steady thrust and fast response are needed. The influences of structure parameters to the performance are investigated by finite element analysis.

Thrust Ripple Analysis and Suppression of Minimum Unit Coil Segmented Moving-magnet Linear Motor

International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems, 2023
Each coil of the minimum unit coil segmented moving-magnet linear motor (MUCSMLM) can be controlled independently, which introduces large thrust fluctuations when running.

Reduction of thrust ripple in Linear DC Motor

1995
To design a LDM servo system, it is need to reduce thrust ripple for precise position servo system. The thrust ripples make it difficult to control in position servo system, we introduce some technique to reduce thrust ripple in LDM, and propose a technique to compensate the end effect in LDM by adding two sub magnetic pole.

Thrust Ripples Test and Analysis of Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor

2011 Third International Conference on Measuring Technology and Mechatronics Automation, 2011
Thrust ripples are the main factors which affect the application and development of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM). In order to control and compensate the thrust fluctuations of permanent magnet synchronous motor, the mathematical model of thrust fluctuations must be established first.

A DSVM-Based MPC Strategy With Magnetizing Inductance Online Identification Method for Thrust Ripple Suppression in Linear Induction Machine

IEEE transactions on power electronics
The conventional discrete space vector modulation-based model predictive control (DSVM-MPC) strategies in linear induction machines (LIMs) have two problems, one is that the current harmonics and thrust ripple are large as accuracy of the voltage vector (
