Activity Against Pythium insidiosum and Isolated Constituents of Cordia insignis Roots
This study investigates the roots of Cordia insignis in search of novel treatments for pythiosis, caused by the oomycete Pythium insidiosum. Seven compounds are isolated, including steroids, a saponin, a coumarin, a fatty acid, and a glycoside, the latter two are reported for the first time in the genus.

Larvicidal Activity of Naringenin: Betaine Cocrystals Against Aedes Aegypti
This study demonstrates that naringenin: betaine cocrystals significantly enhance larvicidal activity against Aedes aegypti compared to physical mixtures or pure compounds. Improved dissolution properties contributed to higher mortality rates, supporting the use of cocrystallization as a promising green technology for vector management.
