Tumor Encasement of the Right Coronary Artery: Role of Anatomic and Functional Imaging in Diagnosis and Therapeutic Management [PDF]
We presented two rare cases of mediastinal tumor encasing the right coronary artery (RCA), one with recurrent metastatic thymoma and another with primary poorly differentiated neoplasm. Different degrees and locations of RCA involvement were noted.

The diagnosis of thymic epithelial neoplasm has been a topic of controversy for many years. Reasons for this include the lack of predictive value associated with the morphology of these tumours and the multiplicity of classification schemes and terminologies proposed over the years.

Thymomatous myasthenia gravis [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Myasthenia gravis (MG) is an autoimmune disorder targeting skeletal muscle acetylcholine receptor. Thymoma is associated with MG in some patients, the majority of whom present with symptoms of MG before detection of underlying thymoma.

Transgenic expression of the Ly49A natural killer cell receptor confers class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC)-specific inhibition and prevents bone marrow allograft rejection. [PDF]
Natural killer (NK) cells and some T cells are endowed with receptors specific for class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules that can inhibit cellular effector functions.

Remote Monitoring in Myasthenia Gravis: Exploring Symptom Variability
ABSTRACT Background Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a rare, autoimmune disorder characterized by fluctuating muscle weakness and potential life‐threatening crises. While continuous specialized care is essential, access barriers often delay timely interventions. To address this, we developed MyaLink, a telemedical platform for MG patients.

The treatment of thymic epithelial tumors (TETs) in children may pose a serious problem. This is because thymic tumors—thymomas and thymic carcinomas, are extremely rare in patients of this age group, and thus a consistent treatment scheme has not been established.

Intrathoracic Extramedullary Hematopoiesis Arising in the Anterior Mediastinum
Arrows indicate enlarging anterior (a, b) and posterior (c, d) mediastinal extramedullary hematopoiesis (EMH). EMH should be included in the differential diagnosis of anterior mediastinal lesion. Histologic confirmation is desirable to obtain definitive diagnosis and guide management.

ABSTRACT Paraneoplastic pemphigus (PNP) is a life‐threatening autoimmune blistering disease with a mortality rate of 70%–90%, driven largely by respiratory complications such as bronchiolitis obliterans. Managing respiratory failure in these patients remains exceptionally difficult.
