Thyrotoxicosis in pregnancy

Abstract Thyrotoxicosis occuring in pregnancy is uncommon. There is disagreement in regard to the management of these patients. During the past 10 years at The New York Hospital, there have been 28 pregnancies complicated by hyperthyroidism. Of 19 patients, all but 2 of these patients were treated medically.
