Laws of gas and water flow and mechanism of reservoir drying in tight sandstone gas reservoirs [PDF]
The reservoir permeability of tight sandstone gas reservoirs is low, which makes it difficult to carry out displacement flow experiments on real cores underground conditions, so the microscopic flow mechanism can be hardly studied.

This study examines the effects of curing temperature on the mechanical behavior of underground rock masses treated with enzyme‐induced calcite precipitation (EICP) and an innovative biopolymer‐modified EICP (BP‐EICP). Abstract Biocementation is an innovative and sustainable technique for reinforcing weak and weathered rock masses in natural and ...

A pore network-based multiscale coupled model for rapid permeability prediction of tight sandstone gas [PDF]
Tight sandstone has multiscale pore structures. Gas transport in tight sandstones involves several length scales and the complicated physics. Gas transport characteristics in tight sandstone can be represented by apparent gas permeability. Microstructure-

Study on the mechanism of CO2 injection to improve tight sandstone gas recovery
Supercritical CO2 can improve gas recovery and achieve carbon sequestration in tight gas reservoir. It is a hot topic but not applied extensively. The main restricts include the unclear mechanism of gas-to-gas displacement and the reduction of the natural gas asset value due to CO2 breakthrough.

This study demonstrates the feasibility of an underground closed‐loop thermal storage facility at a post‐mining site, intended for seasonal heat energy storage. Its principal design shows water flow directions in winter and summer (1, 2), heat pumps (3), an upper water reservoir (4), and connecting pipes (5).
