Deep Learning‐Assisted Design of Mechanical Metamaterials
This review examines the role of data‐driven deep learning methodologies in advancing mechanical metamaterial design, focusing on the specific methodologies, applications, challenges, and outlooks of this field. Mechanical metamaterials (MMs), characterized by their extraordinary mechanical behaviors derived from architected microstructures, have ...

Performance study of external wall tiling by pull-off test [PDF]
With the wide use of the external wall tiling as the finishing system of buildings, system failures such as tile falling, buckling, cracking and adhesive delamination have been reported in many countries, including Singapore.

Neweyes: A System for Comparing Biological Sequences Using the Running Karp-Rabin Greedy String-Tiling Algorithm [PDF]
A system for aligning nucleotide or amino acid biosequences is described. The system, called Neweyes, employs a novel string matching algorithm, Running KarpRabin Greedy String Tiling (RKR-GST), which involves tiling one string with matching substrings ...

Capacitive, charge‐domain compute‐in‐memory (CIM) stores weights as capacitance, eliminating DC sneak paths and IR‐drop, yielding near‐zero standbypower. In this perspective, we present a device to systems level performance analysis of most promising architectures and predict apathway for upscaling capacitive CIM for sustainable edge computing ...

Realization of a Choquet simplex as the set of invariant probability measures of a tiling system [PDF]
In this paper we show that, for every Choquet simplex K and for every d > 1, there exists a Z(d)-Toeplitz system whose set of invariant probability measures is affine homeomorphic to K.

Sequential multicolor fluorescence imaging in dynamic microsystems is constrained by acquisition speed and excitation dose. This study introduces a real‐time framework to reconstruct spectrally separated channels from reduced cross‐channel acquisitions (frames containing mixed spectral contributions).

Autonomous X‐Ray Fluorescence Mapping for Nanoscale Chemical Speciation of Fine Particulate Matter
We present X‐AutoMap, an autonomous X‐ray fluorescence mapping framework that integrates real‐time analysis with rule‐based computer vision to selectively target chemically relevant regions. By avoiding background‐dominated areas, the method reduces acquisition time by fourfold while enabling accurate particle‐level speciation.
