Control and Identification of Time Varying Systems.

1984
Abstract : Research is summarized for the state feedback stabilization of point-delay and distributed-delay time-lag control systems via the development of a reducing transformation technique. The approach facilitates the controller design using well established delay-free methods once the unstable pole set is delineated for the time-lag system ...

Relative controllability of nonlinear systems with time varying delays in control

Kybernetika, 1985
Using the measure of noncompactness of a set and Darbo's fixed point theorem, sufficient conditions for relative controllability of nonlinear systems with time varying lumped multiple delays in control are established. This method is extended to perturbed nonlinear systems and to systems having implicit derivative.

Minimum-variance control of linear time-varying systems

Automatica, 1997
Single-input, single-output linear discrete-time systems with time-varying parameters are considered. The minimum-variance control of such systems with closed-loop stability guarantee is presented. The method is based on modifying the regular minimum-variance controller to achieve closed-loop stability. Simulation results are also included.

Structurally variable control of time-varying Lurie systems

International Journal of Control, 2016
ABSTRACTThis poses and solves the problem of structurally variable control synthesis for time-varying Lurie systems, which has both theoretical and engineering significance. A theorem on absolute stability of a set related to Lurie systems solves the problem.

Optimal control of time-varying fault tolerant systems

2004 43rd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC) (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37601), 2004
In this paper an optimal control law for continuous infinite time-varying stochastic control systems with jumps and quadratic cost is found under assumption that the coefficients have limits as time tends to infinity and the boundary system is absolutely observable and stabilizable.

On the constrained controllability of linear time-varying discrete systems

IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1999
In this paper, the authors study the constrained complete controllability to the origin of various classes of time-varying discrete-time systems under an assumption of a Kalman-type uniform controllability. They will give sufficient conditions for complete controllability for both stable and unstable systems.
