GMV control of nonlinear multivariable systems [PDF]
A Generalized Minimum Variance control law is derived for the control of nonlinear, possibly time-varying multivariable systems. The solution for the control law is original and was obtained in the time-domain using a simple operator representation of ...

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Tracking implicit trajectories [PDF]
Output tracking of implcitly defined reference trajectories is examined. A continuous-time nonlinear dynamical system is constructed that produces explicit estimates of time-varying implicit trajectories.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Observer-Based Robust Control for Switched Stochastic Systems with Time-Varying Delay
This paper investigates the problem of observer-based robust control for a class of switched stochastic systems with time-varying delay. Based on the average dwell time method, an exponential stability criterion for switched stochastic delay systems is

A nyquist criterion for time-varying periodic systems, with application to a hydraulic test bench [PDF]
In this paper, stability results dedicated to sampled periodic systems are applied to a mechanical system whose stiffness exhibits quick variations: a hydraulic test bench used to achieve mechanical test on complex structures.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Event-triggered control of nonlinear systems with input saturation and time-varying control gain
In this paper, an event-triggered adaptive control law is proposed by backstepping for a class of nonlinear systems with unknown saturation input. It also considers uncertain constant parameters and unknown time-varying input gains in the system.

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Robust Control for Uncertain Switched Systems with Interval Nondifferentiable Time-Varying Delays
This paper addresses the conditions for robust stabilization of a class of uncertain switched systems with delay. The system to be considered is autonomous and the state delay is time-varying.
