Time dependence of the helium flux measured by PAMELA [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2019
Precision measurements of the Z = 2 component in cosmic radiation provide crucial information about the origin and propagation of the second most abundant cosmic ray species in the Galaxy (9% of the total).

Heterogeneity in the Global Practice of Central Nervous System Staging in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Central nervous system (CNS) involvement in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is assessed by cell counting and cytomorphology from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and is used for treatment stratification worldwide. The ratio of “CNS2” patients in clinical trials ranges from 3% to 40%, with unclear prognostic significance ...

Time‐dependent vector stabilization [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2006
The paper presents necessary and sufficient conditions for a single input system defined by a time‐dependent vector to be stabilized by a linear feedback. The paper employs a new technique based on averaging along a moving time interval.

Experience With Performing Rheocarna Therapy via the Single‐Needle Method for Treatment of Chronic Limb‐Threatening Ischemia

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction This study investigated the safety and efficacy of single‐needle Rheocarna therapy for chronic limb‐threatening ischemia (CLTI) with wounds. Methods Six patients with CLTI involving ulcers unresponsive to revascularization underwent single‐needle Rheocarna treatment.

TIME MINIMIZATION DELIVERY PLANNING WITH THE TIME-QUANTITY DEPENDENCE [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Journal of Silesian University of Technology. Series Transport
One of the classical problems in transportation planning is represented minimizing the maximal delivery time of a uniform commodity between sources and destinations, known as the Bottleneck Transportation Problem (BTP).

Comparative Evaluation of Hemodiafiltration, Hemoperfusion, and Standard Hemodialysis on Efficacy, Inflammatory Control, Dialysis Adequacy, and Safety in End‐Stage Renal Disease: A Prospective Observational Study

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...

On the time dependence of the h-index

open access: yesJournal of Informetrics, 2013
The time dependence of the $h$-index is analyzed by considering the average behaviour of $h$ as a function of the academic age $A_A$ for about 1400 Italian physicists, with career lengths spanning from 3 to 46 years. The individual $h$-index is strongly correlated with the square root of the total citations $N_C$: $h \approx 0.53 \sqrt{N_C}$.

On the time dependence of holographic complexity

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
We evaluate the full time dependence of holographic complexity in various eternal black hole backgrounds using both the complexity=action (CA) and the complexity=volume (CV) conjectures.

Time dependence of gas-phase emissions from 3D printer filaments

open access: yesChemical Engineering Transactions, 2022
Gas-phase emissions from 3D printers have received widespread attention with respect to their health risk. Here, we characterize the formation of gaseous emissions from polymer filaments.
