Location errors in time of arrival (TOA) and time difference of arrival (TDOA) systems [PDF]
It is shown that the covariance matrix of object location errors is identical for time of arrival (TOA) and time difference of arrival (TDOA) systems if the inverse of the covariance matrix of TOA (TDOA) errors is used as a weighting matrix. Also, with this weighting the location errors statistics do not depend on the particular difference pairs in the

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing‐based time difference of arrival estimation [PDF]
This study presents a spectral approach to estimate the time difference of arrival (TDOA) between a reference unit, composed of a pair of very close antennas (small baseline regarding the operating bandwidth), acting as a known fixed location transmitter, and a mobile unit acting as a single antenna receiver. It uses the channel frequency response (CFR)

Time difference of arrival estimation of microseismic signals based on alpha-stable distribution [PDF]
Microseismic signals are generally considered to follow the Gauss distribution. A comparison of the dynamic characteristics of sample variance and the symmetry of microseismic signals with the signals which follow α-stable distribution reveals that ...

ABSTRACT A second allogeneic (allo‐)hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT2) is a potential curative option for pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) following relapse after first allogeneic transplantation (HSCT1), but its efficacy is limited by high relapse rates and transplant‐related toxicity in highly pretreated ...

ABSTRACT Background L‐asparaginase is a critical component in treatment protocols for pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Acute pancreatitis reactions can necessitate delays and, in some cases, discontinuation of L‐asparaginase, which compromises outcomes.

ABSTRACT Secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT) is a common complication in patients receiving maintenance dialysis, driven by calcium and phosphate metabolism disturbances. Calcimimetics are central to the management of SHPT by enhancing calcium‐sensing receptor sensitivity and reducing parathyroid hormone secretion.
