Time-Domain Analysis of Electromagnetic Fields in Conical Cavities With Modified EAE

open access: yesIEEE Access
In this study, we apply a novel format of Maxwell’s equations in SI Units for analyzing electromagnetic fields in conical cavities, with a special focus on time-domain analysis.

Predicting the Future Burden of Renal Replacement Therapy in Türkiye Using National Registry Data and Comparative Modeling Approaches

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Chronic kidney disease is a growing public health problem worldwide, and the number of patients requiring renal replacement therapy is steadily increasing. Türkiye has experienced a similar rise in both the incidence and prevalence of renal replacement therapy over the past decades; however, national‐level projections of future ...

A Map of the Outer Gas Disk of the Galaxy with Direct Distances from Young Stars

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
For more than 50 yr, astronomers have mapped the neutral hydrogen gas in the Galaxy assuming kinematically derived distances. We employ the distances of nearby young stars, which trace the gas from which they formed, in longitude–latitude–velocity space ...

Proposal of a parameter identification method for singledegree-of-freedom nonlinear systems using neural networks

open access: yesMechanical Engineering Journal
This study investigated a time-domain method that uses a neural network (NN) to identify three linear parameters such as mass, viscous damping coefficient and spring constant, as well as nonlinear forces of a nonlinear vibration system.

Time-domain vector ptychography

open access: yesOptics Express
We demonstrate the reconstruction of the instantaneous polarization state of ultrafast laser pulses through vectorial time-domain ptychography. We introduce the formalism, investigate the algorithm’s capacities through simulations, and finally validate it by reconstructing several polarization states from experiments.

Mapping the evolution of mitochondrial complex I through structural variation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Respiratory complex I (CI) is crucial for bioenergetic metabolism in many prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It is composed of a conserved set of core subunits and additional accessory subunits that vary depending on the organism. Here, we categorize CI subunits from available structures to map the evolution of CI across eukaryotes. Respiratory complex I (CI)

Leak detection in water supply networks using inverse transient analysis in time and frequency domain: a comparative investigation

open access: yesFrontiers in Water
This paper compares the inverse transient analysis (ITA) in the frequency domain (FITA) with its counterpart in the time domain (TITA) for leak detection and calibration of looped water supply networks (WSNs).

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.
