ABSTRACT Ascites, the pathological accumulation of fluid in the peritoneal cavity, is common at diagnosis and with recurrence in high‐grade serous ovarian carcinoma (HGSOC). Higher volumes of ascites fluid are associated with greater likelihood of recurrent disease and poor prognosis.
