Anisotropic Spectra of Acoustic Turbulence

open access: yesPhysical Review E, 1999
We found universal anizopropic spectra of acoustic turbulence with the linear dispersion law \bbox{$\omega (k) =ck$} within the framework of generalized kinetic equation which takes into account the finite time of three-wave interactions.

Acoustic noise spectra under hydrothermal conditions

open access: yesUltrasonics Sonochemistry, 2020
Acoustic noise spectra were studied for the first time in overheated water using sonohydrothermal reactor operating at 20 kHz ultrasound in the temperature range from 25 to 200 °C at the autogenic pressure of 1-14 bar. The obtained results highlighted a dominating role of stable cavitation during ultrasonic treatment of hot water.

Practical Approaches for Acoustic Emission Attenuation Modelling to Enable the Process Monitoring of CFRP Machining

open access: yesJournal of Manufacturing and Materials Processing, 2022
Acoustic emission-based monitoring of the milling process holds the potential to detect undesired damages of fibre-reinforced plastic workpieces, such as delamination or matrix cracking. In addition, abrasive tool wear, tool breakage, or coating failures

Using Schlieren Imaging and a Radar Acoustic Sounding System for the Detection of Close-in Air Turbulence

open access: yesSensors, 2023
This paper presents a novel sensor for the detection and characterization of regions of air turbulence. As part of the ground truth process, it consists of a combined Schlieren imager and a Radar Acoustic Sounding System (RASS) to produce dual-modality ...

Borneo Lute ‘Sape’: The Frequency Spectrum and Time Frequency Analysis (TFA)

open access: yesBioResources, 2023
Sound elements were studied for a six strings sape, a traditional instrument. The frequency was evaluated using a frequency spectrum and a time frequency plane. PicoScope oscilloscopes and Adobe Audition version 3 were used to record the acoustic spectra.

Identification approach of acoustic cavitation via frequency spectrum of sound pressure wave signals in numerical simulation

open access: yesUltrasonics Sonochemistry, 2022
In a sono-reactor, complex ultrasound pressure wave signal can be detected, containing multiple information related to acoustic cavitation. In this present study, acoustic cavitation in a cylinder is investigated numerically.

Electromagnetoelastic transport through a piezoelectric slab: Selective parity interplay of electromagnetic and acoustic resonances

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2023
We present the complete solution concerning to transport properties of coupled transverse electromagnetic and shear acoustic waves propagating via a piezoelectric slab embedded into a homogeneous dielectric medium. Since the electroacoustics of our setup
