Quantum optical time-of-arrival model in three dimensions
We investigate the three-dimensional formulation of a recently proposed operational arrival-time model. It is shown that within typical conditions for optical transitions the results of the simple one-dimensional version are generally valid.

Operational Time of Arrival in Quantum Phase Space [PDF]
An operational time of arrival is introduced using a realistic position and momentum measurement scheme. The phase space measurement involves the dynamics of a quantum particle probed by a measuring device.

Contributed Review: Source-localization algorithms and applications using time of arrival and time difference of arrival measurements [PDF]
Locating the position of fixed or mobile sources (i.e., transmitters) based on measurements obtained from sensors (i.e., receivers) is an important research area that is attracting much interest. In this paper, we review several representative localization algorithms that use time of arrivals (TOAs) and time difference of arrivals (TDOAs) to achieve ...

The Ulysses Supplement to the BATSE 3B Catalog of Cosmic Gamma-Ray Bursts [PDF]
We present Interplanetary Network localization information for 218 gamma-ray bursts in the 3rd BATSE catalog, obtained by analyzing the arrival times of these bursts at the Ulysses and Compton Gamma-Ray Observatory (CGRO) spacecraft.

Lightning Mapping: Techniques, Challenges, and Opportunities
Despite the significant progress in the understanding of the phenomenon of lightning and the physics behind it, locating and mapping its occurrence remain a challenge. Such localization and mapping of very high frequency (VHF) lightning radiation sources

Comment on "Measurement of time of arrival in quantum mechanics"
The analysis of the model quantum clocks proposed by Aharonov et al. [Phys. Rev. A 57 (1998) 4130 - quant-ph/9709031] requires considering evanescent components, previously ignored.

A Renewal version of the Sanov theorem [PDF]
Large deviations for the local time of a process $X_t$ are investigated, where $X_t=x_i$ for $t \in [S_{i-1},S_i[$ and $(x_j)$ are i.i.d.\ random variables on a Polish space, $S_j$ is the $j$-th arrival time of a renewal process depending on $(x_j)$.
