Dissipative Kinematics in Binary Neutron Star Mergers

open access: yesUniverse
We highlight the recent progress in the calculation of transport coefficients pertinent to binary neutron star mergers. Specifically, we analyze the bulk viscosity coefficient driven by both the DURCA and MURCA processes and electron transport ...

Dimensionless Numbers in the Analysis of Hydrodynamic Instability of Interface Steel - Slag at Microscale in Refining Processes

open access: yesThe Annals of “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati. Fascicle IX, Metallurgy and Materials Science, 2010
In evaluation of the local hydrodynamics of interface, in steel-slag refining processes influenced by solutal effects, adequate scales of length and time satisfying certain conditions are necessary to get a correct and suggestive image of the weight of ...

Qualitative Outcomes on Monotone Iterative Technique and Quasilinearization Method on Time Scale

open access: yesAxioms
In this paper, a nonlinear dynamic equation with an initial value problem (IVP) on a time scale is considered. First, applying comparison results with a coupled lower solution (LS) and an upper solution (US), we improved the quasilinearization method ...

Fast-forward scaling theory for quantum dynamics on curved space-time [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Scaling properties inherent in quantum dynamics have been studied for various systems in terms of acceleration, deceleration and time reversing. We show a scaling property of quantum dynamics on curved space-time where gravity plays an essential role. We derive system parameters which realize speed-controlled dynamics.

Controllability, observability, realizability, and stability of dynamic linear systems

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2009
We develop a linear systems theory that coincides with the existing theories for continuous and discrete dynamical systems, but that also extends to linear systems defined on nonuniform time scales.
