Invariance times transfer properties
Invariance times are stopping times $τ$ such that local martingales with respect to some reduced filtration and an equivalently changed probability measure, stopped before $τ$ , are local martingales with respect to the original model filtration and probability measure.

Satellite time and frequency transfer (STIFT) [PDF]
The concept of placing a hydrogen maser high stability clock in Earth orbit to provide accurate time and frequency comparisons worldwide to major timing centers and to a large number of radio observatory antenna sites involved in VLBI measurements was ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Limits on the amplification of evanescent waves of left-handed materials
We investigate the transfer function of the discretized perfect lens in finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) and transfer matrix (TMM) simulations; the latter allow to eliminate the problems associated with the explicit time dependence in FDTD ...

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Extending time-domain ptychography to generalized phase-only transfer functions
We extend the time-domain ptychographic iterative engine to generalized spectral phase-only transfer functions. The modified algorithm, i$^2$PIE, is described and its robustness is demonstrated by different numeric simulations.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Time Traveling Regularization for Inverse Heat Transfer Problems
This work presents a technique called Time Traveling Regularization (TTR) applied to an optimization technique in order to solve ill-posed problems. This new methodology does not interfere in the minimization technique process.

Prediction for Chaotic Time Series-Based AE-CNN and Transfer Learning
It has been a hot and challenging topic to predict the chaotic time series in the medium-to-long term. We combine autoencoders and convolutional neural networks (AE-CNN) to capture the intrinsic certainty of chaotic time series.
