Two experiments evaluated the effects of the first GnRH injection of the 5-d timed artificial insemination (AI) program on ovarian responses and pregnancy per AT (P/AI), and the effect of timing of the final GnRH to induce ovulation relative to AT on P ...

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Adapting LPGP to plan with deadlines
This paper describes two approaches that enable the AI Planner LPGP to reason about domains with exogenous events and goals with duration: the first investigates how such domains may be encoded using the planning domain definition language PDDL2.1 level ...

Uterine inflammation and fertility of beef cows subjected to timed AI at different days postpartum. [PDF]
The aim of this study was to evaluate the uterine health and fertility of postpartum beef cows subjected to timed AI (TAI) protocols at different days from calving. Lactating Nelore cows (Bos indicus; n = 244) were used in this study.

Exploration of the robustness of plans
This paper considers the problem of stochastic robustness testing for plans. Although plan generation systems might be proven sound the resulting plans are valid only with respect to the abstract domain model.

Synchronization of estrus in yearling beef heiferswith the melengestrol Acetate®/prostaglandin F2"system: II. timed insemination [PDF]
Inseminating heifers 72 hr after the PG injection in the melengestrol acetate/ prostaglandin F (MGA®/PG) estrous synchronization system, without regard to behavioral estrus, tended to improve (P=.2) the percent of heifers pregnant to artificial ...
