3D Polymeric Nanonetworks: From Self‐Assembly to Advanced Fabrication

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, EarlyView.
This review provides the first systematic cross‐method comparison of fabrication techniques for 3D polymeric nanonetworks. It evaluates five key strategies—block copolymer self‐assembly, hyper‐crosslinking, template‐assisted methods, 3D printing, and nanolithography—across critical metrics including resolution, throughput, scalability, and material ...

Influence of disk leakage path on labyrinth seal inlet swirl ratio [PDF]

open access: yes
The results of numerous investigators have shown the importance of labyrinth seal inlet swirl on the calculated dynamic stiffness of labyrinth seals. These results have not included any calculation of inlet leakage swirl as a function of geometry and ...

Blade scale effects of tip leakage [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
October 1990Includes bibliographical references (leaves 43-44)The effects of blade-tip leakage in a turbine are investigated by modeling the stage as an incomplete actuator disk. It is found that the spanwise flow redistribution due to the gap is such as

Numerical investigation of tip leakage vortex

open access: yes, 2017
The Kaplan turbine has a small clearance gap between the blade tip and casing to allow the blades to rotate freely. This clearance gap is the cause of an undesirable Tip Leakage Vortex (TLV). A TLV might reduce the turbine efficiency, erode the turbine blades or cause instabilities for the power output.

Hybrid GNN and temporal encoder models for flood forecasting in the Vu Gia–Thu Bon River Basin

open access: yesRiver, EarlyView.
Abstract Flood forecasting in river networks requires models that can capture both spatial dependencies across river basins and the temporal dynamics of hydrological processes. This study proposes a hybrid approach combining Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) with temporal sequence models, such as Long Short‐Term Memory (LSTM) networks and Transformer ...

Interpretable CRAM‑Enhanced Lightweight Dual‑Branch CNN for Real‑Time Breast Cancer Histopathology in Internet‑of‑Medical‑Things Environments

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
This study presents an interpretable, lightweight hybrid deep learning model for real‐time analysis of breast cancer histopathology in IoMT‐enabled diagnostic systems. By integrating MobileNetV2 and EfficientNet‐B0 with a novel contextual recurrent attention module (CRAM), the framework achieves near‐perfect accuracy while providing transparent Grad ...

Heterogeneous Multilayer Nanopores via Chemically Tuned Dielectric Breakdown for Single‐Molecule Sensing

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A scalable fabrication method based on chemically tuned controlled dielectric breakdown (CT‐CDB) enables heterogeneous multilayer nanopores integrating SiNx with 2D materials such as hBN, MoS2, and graphene. The resulting nanopores exhibit distinct electrokinetic behaviors and low noise, allowing structure‐dependent single‐protein sensing.
