Effect of placental mesenchymal stem cells on promoting the healing of chronic burn wounds
The treatment of chronic burn wounds is difficult in clinical practice. The ideal therapy is required to be continuously explored. Mesenchymal stem cells revolutionize the treatment of many diseases.

Long-Term Preservation of Rat Skin Tissue by Epigallocatechin-3--Gallate
Skin grafts can be preserved by cryopreservation and refrigerated storage at 4°C. Epigallocatechin-3- O -gallate (EGCG) enhances the viability of stored skin grafts and also extends the storage time up to 7 weeks at 4°C.

Silurian brachiopods with soft-tissue preservation
'Articulated' rhynchonelliformean brachiopods are abundant shelly fossils, but the direct fossil record of their soft parts was hitherto confined to a single pyritized trace possibly representing a lophophore. Anatomical knowledge of extinct rhynchonelliformeans relies heavily on analogies to extant species; these analogies are untested for stem-group ...

Thyroid Hormone as a Method of Reducing Damage to Donor Hearts after Circulatory Arrest [PDF]
There is a chronic lack of donor hearts to meet the need for heart transplant both in the US and worldwide. Further, the use of available hearts is limited by the short period between collection and implantation during which the heart can be safely ...

Liquid biopsy epigenetics: establishing a molecular profile based on cell‐free DNA
Cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) fragments in plasma from cancer patients carry epigenetic signatures reflecting their cells of origin. These epigenetic features include DNA methylation, nucleosome modifications, and variations in fragmentation. This review describes the biological properties of each feature and explores optimal strategies for harnessing cfDNA ...

Interindividual heterogeneity affects the outcome of human cardiac tissue decellularization
The extracellular matrix (ECM) of engineered human cardiac tissues corresponds to simplistic biomaterials that allow tissue assembly, or animal derived off-the-shelf non-cardiac specific matrices.

HDAC4 is degraded by the E3 ligase FBXW7. In colorectal cancer, FBXW7 mutations prevent HDAC4 degradation, leading to oxaliplatin resistance. Forced degradation of HDAC4 using a PROTAC compound restores drug sensitivity by resetting the super‐enhancer landscape, reprogramming the epigenetic state of FBXW7‐mutated cells to resemble oxaliplatin ...

Protocol for Harvest, Transport and Storage of Human Osteochondral Tissue
Objective To elaborate a protocol for the harvest, transport, and preservation of human osteochondral tissue for use in tissue banks (TBs). Methods Osteochondral fragments measuring 2 cm3 of 5 corpse donors aged between 15 and 45 years old were analyzed.
