Co-occurrence of FLT3-TKD and NPM1 mutations defines a highly favorable prognostic AML group

open access: yesBlood Advances, 2017
: Although FLT3 internal tandem duplication (ITD) mutations in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) confer an adverse prognosis, co-occurrence with a nucleophosphomin (NPM1) mutation partially improves response and survival outcomes.

A dual inhibitor overcomes drug-resistant FLT3-ITD acute myeloid leukemia

open access: yesJournal of Hematology & Oncology, 2021
FLT3 mutations are the most frequently identified genetic alterations in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and are associated with poor prognosis. Multiple FLT3 inhibitors are in various stages of clinical evaluation.

Molecular dynamic simulation, free binding energy calculation of Thiazolo-[2,3-b]quinazolinone derivatives against EGFR-TKD and their anticancer activity

open access: yesResults in Chemistry, 2022
Epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase domain (EGFR-TKD) plays a crucial role in the onset and progression of different types of cancers. The existing EGFR-TKD inhibitors have many adverse side effects, which make them unsuitable to be used as ...

Molecular Dynamic Simulations and Binding Free Energy Evaluations of Thiazolo-[2,3-b] Quinazolinone Derivatives With wtEGFR-TKD and "TMLR" Mutant EGFR-TKD [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
Abstract Cancer causes innumerable deaths every year globally. Breast cancer and non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) are the most prevalent worldwide. The epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinases play a pivotal role in manifestations of cellular signals in carcinoma cells and thus are endorsed as therapeutic targets in cancer ...

Mapping Nanoscale Buckling in Atomically Thin Cr2Ge2Te6

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Atomic‐resolution STEM is used to resolve nanoscale buckling in monolayer Cr2Ge2Te₆. A noise‐robust image analysis reconstructs three‐dimensional lattice distortions from single plan‐view images, revealing pronounced defect‐driven nm‐scale out‐of‐plane buckling.

On the depth resolution of transmission Kikuchi diffraction (TKD) analysis [PDF]

open access: yesUltramicroscopy, 2019
In this paper, we have analysed the depth resolution that can be achieved by on-axis transmission Kikuchi diffraction (TKD) using a Zr-Nb alloy. The results indicate that the signals contributing to detectable Kikuchi bands originate from a depth of approximately the mean free path of thermal diffuse scattering (lambdaTDS) from the bottom surface of a ...
