Near‐Atomic Investigation on the Elemental Redistribution During Coprecipitation of Nano‐Sized Kappa‐Type and B2 Precipitates in an Al‐Alloyed Lightweight Steel

open access: yessteel research international, EarlyView.
Elemental redistribution during coprecipitation of kappa (κ)‐type and B2 precipitates in an Al‐alloyed lightweight steel is revealed by atom probe tomography (APT) and density functional theory (DFT). Fe and Ni redistribution promotes the evolution of B2 phase from NiAl‐type toward FeAl‐type and improves the stability of κ and B2 phases during ...

Influence of In Vitro IL-2 or IL-15 Alone or in Combination with Hsp-70-Derived 14-mer Peptide (TKD) on the Expression of NK Cell Activatory and Inhibitory Receptors

open access: yesMediators of Inflammation, 2013
NK cells represent a potential tool for adoptive immunotherapy against tumors. Membrane-bound Hsp70 acts as a tumor-specific marker enhancing NK cell activity.

81030 Utilizing a synergistic drug combination to target relapsed/refractory FLT3 mutant AML

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Translational Science, 2021
IMPACT: This work will help to understand a novel therapeutic approach to a common type of acute myeloid leukemia. OBJECTIVES/GOALS: FMS-like tyrosine kinase 3 (or FLT3) mutations occur in ˜30% of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cases.

Late Kinetic Decoupling of Light Magnetic Dipole Dark Matter

open access: yes, 2016
We study the kinetic decoupling of light (lesssim 10 GeV) magnetic dipole dark matter (DM). We find that present bounds from collider, direct DM searches, and structure formation allow magnetic dipole DM to remain in thermal equilibrium with the early ...

Linear scale bounds on dark matter--dark radiation interactions and connection with the small scale crisis of cold dark matter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
One of the open questions in modern cosmology is the small scale crisis of the cold dark matter paradigm. Increasing attention has recently been devoted to self-interacting dark matter models as a possible answer.

Global Factors in Noncore Bank Funding and Exchange Rate Flexibility

open access: yesJournal of Money, Credit and Banking, EarlyView.
Abstract We show that fluctuations in the ratio of noncore to core funding in the banking systems of advanced economies are largely driven by three global factors of both real and financial natures, with country‐specific factors playing only a minor role. Exchange rate flexibility helps insulate the noncore to core ratio from such global factors.

Anti-tumor activity of patient-derived NK cells after cell-based immunotherapy – a case report

open access: yesJournal of Translational Medicine, 2009
Background Membrane-bound heat shock protein 70 (Hsp70) serves as a tumor-specific recognition structure for Hsp70-peptide (TKD) plus IL-2 activated NK cells.

Damping scales of neutralino cold dark matter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
The lightest supersymmetric particle, most likely the neutralino, might account for a large fraction of dark matter in the Universe. We show that the primordial spectrum of density fluctuations in neutralino cold dark matter (CDM) has a sharp cut-off due

Smallest Halos in Thermal Wino Dark Matter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
(Mini) split supersymmetry explains the observed Higgs mass and evades stringent constraints, while keeping good features of TeV-scale supersymmetry other than the little hierarchy problem.

Significance of Myelodysplasia‐Related Mutations and the Genetic Landscape of Acute Leukemias of Ambiguous Lineage

open access: yesInternational Journal of Laboratory Hematology, Volume 48, Issue 3, Page 512-520, June 2026.
ABSTRACT The recent fifth edition WHO classification and ICC classification systems have moved further toward genetically defined classifications of acute leukemias. Both now recognize myelodysplasia‐related (MR) mutations as defining of MDS‐related AML (AML‐MR).
