A Chemically Defined Four-Component Self-Adjuvanting Tn Vaccine Activating Mincle, FcγR, and CD206 for Enhanced Antitumor Immunity. [PDF]
A fully synthetic four‐component vaccine has been developed combining Tn antigen, vizantin (Mincle agonist), rhamnose (antibody recruitment), and mannose (CD206 targeting). By synergistically activating Mincle, FcγR, and CD206 pathways, it elicits strong IgG switching and cytotoxic T‐cells, significantly inhibiting tumors in mice.

Preclinical Studies of Granulysin-Based Anti-MUC1-Tn Immunotoxins as a New Antitumoral Treatment
Two granulysin (GRNLY) based immunotoxins were generated, one containing the scFv of the SM3 mAb (SM3GRNLY) and the other the scFv of the AR20.5 mAb (AR20.5GRNLY). These mAb recognize different amino acid sequences of aberrantly O-glycosylated MUC1, also

Efficient and Reproducible Synthesis of an Fmoc-protected Tn Antigen [PDF]
The total synthesis of the Thomsen-nouveau (Tn) antigen, a tumour-associated O-linked mucin glycopeptide, was achieved through a concise route. The key glycosylation step proved challenging to reproduce from the literature precedents and was most ...

Primary breast cancer tumours contain high amounts of IgA1 immunoglobulin: an immunohistochemical analysis of a possible carrier of the tumour-associated Tn antigen. [PDF]
The Tn antigen (GalNAc alpha-O-Ser/Thr) as defined by the binding of the lectin, helix pomatia agglutinin (HPA) or anti-Tn monoclonal antibodies, is known to be exposed in a majority of cancers, and it has also been shown to correlate positively with the

Amplified Detection of Breast Cancer Autoantibodies Using MUC1-Based Tn Antigen Mimics [PDF]
In many human carcinomas, mucin-1 (MUC1) is overexpressed and aberrantly glycosylated, resulting in the exposure of previously hidden antigens. This generates new patient antibody profiles that can be used in cancer diagnosis.

Expression of Tn, sialosyl-Tn and T antigens in human foetal large intestine
Tn, sialosyl-Tn and T antigens are simple mucintype carbohydrate antigens that may be expressed in human neoplasies due to alteration of the glycoprotein biosynthetic pathway.

Carbohydrate receptor-mediated gene transfer to human T leukaemic cells [PDF]
The mucin-type carbohydrate Tn cryptantigen (GalNAcα1-O-Ser/Thr, where GalNAc is N-acetyl-D-galactosamine) is expressed in many carcinomas, in haemopoietic disorders including the Tn syndrome, and on human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) coat glycoproteins,

Oxygen by Carbon Replacement at the Glycosidic Linkage Modulates the Sugar Conformation in Tn Antigen Mimics [PDF]
N-Acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) α-O-linked to l-threonine (Thr) (Tn antigen) and several mimics of this Tn antigen have been synthesized to explore the impact of the underlying amino acid in the presentation mode of the carbohydrate moiety. The structural
