Rational design of a Tn antigen mimic [PDF]
A novel Tn antigen mimic, in which the natural underlying amino acid has been replaced by the non-natural α-methylserine analogue, is reported. This derivative exhibits a similar affinity for a natural lectin as for the natural Tn and retains the bioactive conformation observed in the Tn-containing glycopeptides with anti-MUC1 antibodies.

Expression of the Tn antigen in myelodysplasia, lymphoma, and leukemia
Expression of the normally cryptic blood group antigen Tn has occasionally been reported in hematologic disease, but the true frequency of this change is not known. A mouse monoclonal antibody (FBT3) and immunohistochemistry were used to examine expression of the Tn antigen.

Detection of Tn, sialyn-Tn and T antigens in HNPCC
The simple mucin-type carbohydrate antigens Tn, sialosyl-Tn, T and the 'cryptic' sialylated variant of the last represent the mucin core oligosaccharide structures that are produced in the initial steps of the mucin biosynthetic pathway. Utilizing monoclonal antibodies anti-Tn antigen (HB-Tn1), anti-sialosyl-Tn antigen (HB-STn1), anti-T antigen (HB-T1)

Tn and Sialyl‐Tn antigens in canine gastric tissues
Veterinary and Comparative Oncology, 2020AbstractMalignant transformation is often associated with abnormal protein glycosylation expressed, amongst others, by the accumulation of simple mucin‐type carbohydrates namely Tn and Sialyl‐Tn (STn) antigens. These are usually limited in normal tissues and their increased expression has been associated with cancer progression and poor prognosis. This

Expression of Tn and Sialyl-Tn Antigens in Tumor Tissues of the Ovary
American Journal of Clinical Pathology, 1991The expression of sialyl-Tn and Tn antigens in various benign, borderline, and malignant ovarian tumors was examined immunohistochemically using newly developed antibodies specific for sialyl-Tn and Tn antigens. Sialyl-Tn antigen was detected in only one benign tumor, a mucinous adenoma that showed faint cytoplasmic staining in a few cells.

Expression of Tn, sialosyl Tn, and T antigens in human pancreas
Gastroenterology, 1991Carbohydrate antigens representing some of the initial steps in mucin O-linked glycosylation were examined in specimens of normal pancreas, chronic pancreatitis, and pancreatic adenocarcinoma. Tn antigen, recognized by Vicia villosa lectin, was expressed by all specimens of normal pancreas (acinar cells) and pancreatic cancers and all but one case of ...

Coexpression of cancer-associated carbohydrate antigens, Tn and sialyl Tn
Glycoconjugate Journal, 1994The expression of cancer-associated antigens, Tn and sialyl Tn, was examined using monoclonal antibodies, MLS 128 and MLS 102, recognizing these two antigens, respectively. A cell lysate from a human carcinoma cell line, LS 180 cells, was analysed by Western blotting using these two antibodies.
