Effects of Insecticides on Lepidopterous Larvae and Leafminers on Tomatoes, 1991

open access: yesInsecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1992
Abstract Seedlings were transplanted in a sandy loam type soil on 17 Jun at the University of California South Coast Field Station in Santa Ana, California. Experimental plots were 4 rows wide (5 ft centers) by 40 ft long and separated by a 5 ft buffer.

Azadirachtin avoidance by larvae and adult females of the tomato leafminer Tuta absoluta

open access: yesCrop Protection, 2013
The tomato leafminer Tuta absoluta is a serious worldwide threat to tomato production and its control in open-field tomato has relied heavily on synthetic insecticides, which however are not allowed in organic tomato cultivation. Furthermore, insecticide

Control of Lepidopterous Larvae and Leafminers on Tomatoes, 1981

Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1982
Abstract ‘Peto-seed 7718VS’ tomato seedlings were transplanted on Jul 14 at the University of California South Coast Field Station in Santa Ana, CA. Experimental plots were 4 rows wide (1.52 meter centers) by 7.0 meters long and separated by a 1.52 meter buffer. The tomato planting was drip irrigated.

Natural mortality factors of tomato leafminer Tuta absoluta in open‐field tomato crops in South America [PDF]

open access: yesPest Management Science, 2019
Little importance has been given to the role of natural mortality factors (biotic and abiotic) in the regulation of tomato leafminer Tuta absoluta (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae) populations.

Control of Leafminer on Tomato, 1984

Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1985
Abstract Field plots were located at the University of Hawaii Experiment Station, Waimanalo, HI. Treatments were replicated 4 times in a randomized complete block design. Three-row plots, 1.21 m apart and 6.09 m long were planted at 0.6-m spacing between plants on 18 Nov ’83.

Tomato Vegetable Leafminer Control, 1977

Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1979
Abstract Nine insecticides were evaluated for control of moderate populations of vegetable leafminers and their parasites on ‘Walter’ tomato seedlings. The 10 week old seedlings (on Dec 1) were grown in Speedling #400 seedling flats in a Speedling greenhouse in Sun City, FL.

Leafminer Control on Tomato, 1975

Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1976
Abstract The experimental planting consisted of a 12 row x 225 ft section of direct seed, trellised, fresh market tomatoes ‘Hybrid 6718’ under drip irrigation and grown commercially in Chula Vista, California. Treatments were applied in a 4 x 4 Latin square design using a tractor-mounted, high-clearance sprayer with 8 hollow-cone nozzles

Fortuitous parasitoids of the invasive tomato leafminer Tuta absoluta in Tunisia

Phytoparasitica, 2013
The South American tomato leafminer, Tuta absoluta (Meyrick) (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae), is a major threat to tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) crops. After its first detection in Spain in 2006, it spread rapidly through the Western Palaearctic region, arriving in Tunisia 2 years later.
