Neuromuscular Block and Video Laryngoscope to Facilitate Intubation—A Survey of Current Practice in Denmark and Sweden

open access: yesActa Anaesthesiologica Scandinavica, Volume 70, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Neuromuscular blocking agents (NMBA) provide optimal conditions for tracheal intubation. A high dose of opioid can be used as an alternative but may give suboptimal conditions for intubation. The use of a video laryngoscope for intubation might eliminate this potential difference.

Mucosal‐Associated Invariant T Cells in Rheumatic Diseases

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, Volume 78, Issue 2, Page 287-297, February 2026.
Mucosal‐associated invariant T (MAIT) cells are innate‐like T cells defined by their semi‐invariant T cell receptor and restriction by the major histocompatibility complex class I–related molecule (MR1). These cells are primarily activated by microbial‐derived metabolites presented by MR1 or by cytokines.

Scalable spokes pTx pulses for 2D turbo‐spin‐echo imaging at 7 T

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 95, Issue 2, Page 740-755, February 2026.
Abstract Purpose Turbo spin echo (TSE) is important clinically. Unfortunately, 7 T TSE suffers from B1+‐induced signal dropouts. Magnitude‐based parallel transmit (pTx) pulse design algorithms cannot enforce phase patterns complying with the Carr‐Purcell‐Meiboom‐Gill conditions (90° phase shift between excitation and refocusing).
