18F-FDG PET/CT in Patients with Vulvar and Vaginal Cancer: A Preliminary Study of 20 Cases

open access: yesActa Médica Portuguesa, 2022
Introduction: Despite the growing evidence supporting the use of 2-[F-18]-fluor-2-desoxi-D-glucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography in cervical and ovarian malignant tumours, data on vulvar and vaginal cancer is sparse.

Finite quantum tomography via semidefinite programming [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Theoretical Physics, Vol. 46, No. 6, June 2007, page 1471, 2007
Using the the convex semidefinite programming method and superoperator formalism we obtain the finite quantum tomography of some mixed quantum states such as: qudit tomography, N-qubit tomography, phase tomography and coherent spin state tomography, where that obtained results are in agreement with those of References \cite{schack,Pegg,Barnett,Buzek ...

Universal quantum data compression via gentle tomography [PDF]

open access: yesPhys. Rev. A 73, 032336 (2006), 2004
Quantum state tomography--the practice of estimating a quantum state by performing measurements on it--is useful in a variety of contexts. We introduce "gentle tomography" as a version of tomography that preserves the measured quantum data. As an application of gentle tomography, we describe a simple polynomial-time method for universal source coding.

Quantum tomography with wavelet transform in Banach space on Homogeneous space [PDF]

open access: yesEeuopean Physical Journal B, 60, 193-201(2007), 2008
The intimate connection between the Banach space wavelet reconstruction method on homogeneous spaces with both singular and nonsingular vacuum vectors, and some of well known quantum tomographies, such as: Moyal-representation for a spin, discrete phase space tomography, tomography of a free particle, Homodyne tomography, phase space tomography and SU ...

Shadow process tomography of quantum channels [PDF]

open access: yesPhys. Rev. A 107, 042403 (2023), 2021
Quantum process tomography is a critical capability for building quantum computers, enabling quantum networks, and understanding quantum sensors. Like quantum state tomography, the process tomography of an arbitrary quantum channel requires a number of measurements that scale exponentially in the number of quantum bits affected.

18F-fluoride positron emission tomography/computed tomography and bone scintigraphy for diagnosis of bone metastases in newly diagnosed, high-risk prostate cancer patients:study protocol for a multicentre, diagnostic test accuracy study [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
BACKGROUND: For decades, planar bone scintigraphy has been the standard practice for detection of bone metastases in prostate cancer and has been endorsed by recent oncology/urology guidelines. It is a sensitive method with modest specificity.
