Content Analysis of Austrian Print and Online Newspaper Coverage of Breastfeeding Over Two Decades

A content analysis of more than 2500 unique Austrian newspaper articles (2002–2022) found a mostly stable salience of the topic, with a slight decrease at the start of the COVID‐19 pandemic. Breastfeeding was mostly reported as neutral or positive, and was reported significantly more positively than commercial milk formula.
