Tongue gangrene and oropharyngeal carcinoma

Gangrene of the tongue is a condition rarely described in the literature. It generally occurs in association with temporal arteritis and other vasculitides. We described a rare case of tongue necrosis associated with oropharyngeal carcinoma.
