EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Studies into the Failure Prediction of Brittle Materials [PDF]
This thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter provides a brief introduction concerning the behaviour of brittle materials. It also contains the justification for the undertaking of the study as well as a brief description of the method ...

A Fault Prediction Method for CNC Machine Tools Based on SE-ResNet-Transformer
Aiming at the problem that predicted data do not reflect the operating status of computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools, this article proposes a new combined model based on SE-ResNet and Transformer for CNC machine tool failure prediction ...

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Influence of the residual stresses induced by tool wear on the failure of brass electro-valves
Failure analysis was performed on different brass electro-valves body affected by unexpected phenomena of cracking. Through the application of optical and scanning electron microscopy, micro hardness Vickers test and X-ray diffraction, the causes of ...

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.
