A Higher-Order Formula of Path Interval for Tool-Path Generation
This paper presents a novel fourth-order formula for determining path intervals and comprehensively considers path interval formulas. In tool-path generation, a path interval is generally formulated as a scallopheight polynomial. Controlling scallop height in mechanical machining improves surface roughness or machining efficiency.

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

An Energy Efficiency Tool Path Optimization Method Using a Discrete Energy Consumption Path Model
As the energy cost accounts for about one-third of the total manufacturing cost, there is great significance in evaluating and managing energy consumption in manufacturing processes.

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Limiting Tool Path Error Generated by Corner Blending of CNC Interpolator [PDF]
Computer numerical control (CNC) part programs generated by computer-aided manufacturing software are frequently composed of numerous G01 blocks. CNC interpolator applies acceleration and deceleration to generate velocity profile of each block. Therefore,

Novel Tool Path Generation Method for Pocket Machining Using Sound Field Synthesis Theory
Contour parallel tool paths have been proved to be a preferred machining strategy for their advantage of less tool retractions and less sharp turns. The traditional geometrical algorithm-based tool path generation method often makes it hard to simply and

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Tool path generation for milling of free form surfaces with feed rate scheduling [PDF]
The use of freeform (sculptured) surfaces in the product design process is accelerating at an exponential rate driven by functional as well as esthetics demands. CAD/CAM software is a must in their design and manufacture.

Versatile vector tools for efficient protein screening across multiple expression systems
A unified vector toolkit enables rapid protein expression screening across E. coli, insect, and mammalian cells. A single primer pair amplifies the target gene, which is inserted into any vector via a standardized interface. This streamlined workflow eliminates repeated cloning steps, accelerating the identification of optimal expression conditions for
