Trophic Diversity and Food Web Structure of Vegetated Habitats Along a Coastal Topographic Gradient
Land–sea interactions in coastal wetlands create heterogeneous vegetated habitats with regular zonation along a topographic gradient. However, it’s unclear how the trophic diversity of communities and trophic structure of food webs change along the ...

Elevated Connectivity During Language Processing Is Associated With Cognitive Performance in SeLECTS
ABSTRACT Objective Self‐Limited Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes (SeLECTS) is associated with language impairments despite seizures originating in the motor cortex, suggesting aberrant cross‐network interactions. Here we tested whether functional connectivity in SeLECTS during language tasks predicts language performance.

Digital Elevation Models 1 for topographic characterisation and flood flow modelling along low-gradient, terminal dryland rivers:a comparison of spaceborne datasets for the Río Colorado, Bolivia [PDF]
Many dryland rivers are terminal systems, with small channels undergoing prominent downstream size reductions before ending on channelless floodplains, in wetlands, or at playa margins.

ABSTRACT Objectives Focal cortical dysplasia (FCD) is the most common etiology of drug‐resistant epilepsy in children. Focal to bilateral tonic–clonic seizures (FBTCS) mark a high risk of drug‐resistant epilepsy and involve thalamocortical circuitry in their generation and propagation.

The Farther the Better: Effects of Multiple Environmental Variables on Reef Fish Assemblages along a Distance Gradient from River Influences. [PDF]
The conservation and management of site-attached assemblages of coastal reefs are particularly challenging because of the tremendous environmental variation that exists at small spatial scales.

The tribological behavior of 100Cr6 steel spheres textured via Vickers microindentation is evaluated under lubricated sliding by varying both dimple size and density. Fine and dense textures significantly reduce friction across all lubrication regimes, while large dimples increase it.

Planar Solid‐State Nanopores Toward Scalable Nanofluidic Integration Based on CMOS Technology
We present a scalable silicon‐based fabrication strategy for planar solid‐state nanopores to enable their integration with complex nanofluidic systems. Prototype devices demonstrate normal voltage‐current characteristics, good noise performance, and appreciable streaming currents. Our CMOS‐compatible fabrication process offers precise geometric control
