Wedelolactone, a Novel TLR2 Agonist, Promotes Neutrophil Differentiation and Ameliorates Neutropenia: A Multi‐Omics Approach to Unravel the Mechanism

Wedelolactone (WED), a natural TLR2 agonist, promotes neutrophil differentiation and enhances bactericidal function, offering a potential therapeutic strategy for neutropenia. Using a multi‐omics approach, this study reveals that WED activates the TLR2/MEK/ERK pathway, upregulating key transcription factors (PU.1, CEBPβ) to drive neutrophil development.

Epithelium‐Inspired, Ultrahigh‐Toughness, Ultralow‐Hysteresis, and Highly Compressible Polymer Hydrogels as Self‐Powered, Visual, and Underwater Strain Sensors

Inspired by epithelial tissue, epithelium‐like structure hydrogels are synthesized. The as‐prepared hydrogels exhibit ultrahigh toughness, ultralow hysteresis, and ultrahigh compressibility, which can be utilized as self‐powered and visual strain sensors.

A Virtual Clinical Trial of Psychedelics to Treat Patients With Disorders of Consciousness

Disorders of consciousness after severe brain injury are marked by reduced complexity of brain activity and limited treatment options. Using personalized whole‐brain models, this study shows that simulated lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) and psilocybin shift patient brain dynamics closer to criticality.

Topological quantum field theories

The aim of this work is to explain what a topological quantum field theory (TQFT) is and the relation between TQFTs in dimension 2 and Frobenius algebras. More precisely, it is shown that there exists an equivalence of categories between the category of 2-dimensional TQFTs on the one hand, and the category of commutative Frobenius algebras on the other.
